After the hung verdict given by the people of Delhi, political parties have found themselves in a quandary. Eventually BJP decided not for the government, and the first time AAP was in a trickier situation than other political parties. Arvind Kejriwal had no option but to come out with his thoughts when several allegations were being leveled against him and his party AAP as they were reluctant to form the government when there was a chance for a minority government and support by the Congress party.
Arvind Kejriwal came out with 18 conditions to Congress and BJP for AAP to form the government by taking either of their support – Congress accepted those conditions, now Arvind Kejriwal said that he has to take the opinion of people to whether to take support of Congress to form the government. Frankly, asking people to give their opinion again to on the issue of forming a government is nothing less than making mockery of democracy. What makes AAP sure that only the people who have voted for them will respond? There is a chance where supporters of BJP or Congress may sabotage this opinion poll of AAP. What if this turns to be a fractured opinion?
What Arvind Kejriwal and his followers do not understand is that the election verdict given by common man is the ultimate opinion, there cannot be an explicit opinion than an individual coming to voting booth and casting his vote. AAP has not only made a mockery of democracy but they have ridiculed the electoral process by making fun of the people’s opinion. Did Arvind Kejriwal has taken the opinion of families of Delhi blast victims before declaring Batla House Encounter as fake? Of course not – though AAP is a new political party, Arvind Kejriwal knows how to exploit the emotions of people.
David O. Selznick was known as one of the mighty film producers of Hollywood. Actions of Arvind Kejriwal reminds me of David Selznick in many ways. Selznick was famous to the outside world for making "Gone with the Wind", which is a celluloid extravaganza but it’s the inside story which gives a different picture of David Selznick. Though there were many differences among the IAC members they worked as a team to gather the momentum across the country for Lokpal bill.
Vivien Leigh didn't like her co-actors, junior actors didn't like the seniors, technicians hated the work, Clark Gable who was known as 'King of Hollywood' hated David Selznick, actors and technicians were working 16 hours a day, the shooting of the film went for 3 years, there were 3 directors for the film, Selznick didn't give a damn about the opinions of the directors, people had no idea what was happening, but Selznick made sure that film had to be completed. When "Gone with the Wind" was released in movie theaters, it was a super hit and won 8 of the 13 Academy award nominations including the best picture for which Selznick received the award.
Arvind Kejriwal went on with the idea to form a political party amidst of opposition from his own team members, there were several allegations against him and his party people, but he went ahead and contested the Delhi elections, his party people were caught on cameras just before the Delhi election but eventually Arvind Kejriwal and AAP made a super debut in politics. Though Arvind Kejriwal wasn't given a clear mandate to become the Chief Minister of Delhi but he definitely won the best debutant actor award.
Communism and Socialism can be strongly active only when there is poverty, and in the same way for AAP or Arvind Kejriwal to exist he needs to have corruption in the society, otherwise he would become irrelevant with his extreme leftist economic ideology with minority appeasement as Congress has mastered both and such cameos of AAP will not occur often.
Alfred Hitchcock had a 7 year contract with David Selznick, Hitchcock despised this as Selznick has confiscated his freedom in many of his films. Hitchcock gave another consecutive Academy award to Selznick with Best picture for "Rebecca" but Hitchock said that Rebecca is not a Hitcockian film. When Alfred Hitchcock made his masterpiece "Notorious" without the supervision of Selznick, when Notorious became a critical and commercial success, Selznick tried to claim it. If by chance there is a good non-corrupt government is formed by BJP, Arvind Kejriwal will leave no stone unturned to claim the credit of either BJP or Narendra Modi or any other party or individual for that matter.
Arvind Kejriwal and AAP wasn't prepared for this surprise result of the Delhi election. Arvind Kejriwal has captured the imagination of Delhi people but that doesn't mean that other political parties and people of Delhi will dance to his vulgar tunes whenever he or his party is gets cornered and to escape away from responsibility and delivery when you have power.
