Is Singh not the King anymore ?

Let me tell you some incidents in the recent Indian political history, you may or may not have heard about them, but those incidents did influence the 21st century of India. It would be a non-linear narration.

*****

Scene 8
NDA lose the elections in 2004, Congress party makes big gains. Sonia Gandhi, as told by media 'sacrifices' the post of Prime Minister and Manmohan Singh is asked to lead the country. But, some say that the then President Abdul Kalam spoiled Sonia Gandhi's plans and there was no sacrifice but only a scapegoat who would be sacrificed. National media recollects Manmohan Singh's liberal economic policies and suggests that this would be an important chapter in Indian history, it was an important chapter but for other reasons.

Scene 3
After the death of Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, Sikh genocide followed when Rajiv Gandhi was the Prime Minister of India. By the end of 1980's the exponential rise of BJP and other regional parties had made sure that Congress had to rely on other political forces unlike the monopoly which it enjoyed for many decades.

Scene 1
Indira Gandhi is studiously taking forward her father's legacy of Socialism and in the mean time, there was a silent revolution which started inf few parts of the country. Subramanian Swamy proposes his liberal ideas on how to improve the Indian Economy and not surprisingly there are hardly any takers in the Congress party and Indira Gandhi referred to Subramanian Swamy as 'Santa Claus with unrealistic ideas'.

Scene 2
The silent revolution starts to increase its volume and spread to other parts of India, Indira Gandhi was petrified and she has to press the red button - she declares Emergency in India. Opposition leaders are arrested in midnight, family members of many doesn't know about their whereabouts until they got released to contest and win elections against the Congress party. The Economist magazine said that RSS was the only right wing organization in the world to fight for democracy.

Scene 4
It was during the time when Manmohan Singh was experimenting his socialistic ideas in an African country which turned out to be catastrophic.
Rajiv Gandhi allegedly called Dr. Manmohan Singh a 'joker'.
Later, LTTE kills Rajiv Gandhi.
A new government was supposed to be formed.

Scene 7
Manmohan Singh lost the Lok Sabha elections from South Delhi and submits his resignation, but Sonia Gandhi refuses to accept the resignation. Manmohan Singh is the leader of opposition, in Rajya Sabha.

Scene 5
Chandra Shekhar is the new Prime Minister. Subramanian Swamy is member of Planning Commission and the Commerce Minister. He was strongly in favor of liberalizing the economy and dismantling the license raj system. Subramanian Swamy comes out with a blue print of Economic reforms which was supposed to be implemented by the government but that doesn't happen.

Scene 6
P.V.Narasimha Rao is the new Prime Minister by successfully forming a minority government. Manmohan Singh is the Finance Minister and for the first time a leader from the opposition party is given a cabinet rank by the government, it was Subramanian Swamy and was Chairman of the Commission on Labor Standards and International Trade. Indian Economy was able to see the doomsday due to the decades old socialistic policies and the government had no other option but to liberalize the economy. Manmohan Singh was asked by Narasimha Rao to look into the formalities of liberalizing the economy and then the blue print which Subramanian Swamy prepared during the tenure of Chandra Shekhar comes handy. This is the short story on how Indian Economy was forced to come out of Socialism.
L.K.Advani says that Narasimha Rao is the best Prime Minister of India after Lal Bahadur Shastri.

May, 2013

CNN-IBN declared Manmohan Singh as 'Singh is King' after the win of UPA in the Nuclear Deal and we are yet to know the logical conclusion of 'Cash for Votes' scam, the sting operation by CNN -IBN but later went off air.

NDTV interviews John Abraham in a car just before the 2009 elections and they get what they wanted - John Abraham says that Manmohan Singh is the best guy to lead the country with all his degrees blah blah blah...

Recently NDTV actively carried the story where we were told that Ashwini Kumar the Ex-Law minister, Attorney General and some official from the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) have indulged in an unethical act of modifying the CBI report on the Coal Scam. (FYI. Manmohan Singh was the Coal Minister when the scam happened.)

It is very surprising, actually shocking that NDTV has perused this story with all its energy. Any ordinary news watcher would know why it is shocking to see that NDTV was promoting this story actively. How did the media get this story? was there a mole in CBI? was there was a mole in PMO? was there was mole in Law Ministry?. Well, none of the above, i assume that it was leaked by 'High Command'.

Very Recently CNN-IBN broke the story of Rail scam where the Ex-Railway Minister Pawan Kumar Bansal was forced to resign due to charges of bribery leveled against his nephew by CBI (Yes, CBI is involved in this too).

Media which projected and propagated Manmohan Singh as Mr. Clean is now portraying him as a man who is trying to protect corrupt ministers. Media also suggested that there is a disagreement between Sonia Gandhi and Prime Minster over the removal of the corrupt ministers. News channels are constant whisperer that there is a discontent in some part of the congress due to the allegation of corruption. Names of Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi as slowly project as people who are not happy with the staying of corrupt ministers. So, what happens next is inserting...
Congress says: Ashwani Kumar & Pawan Bansal were removed as Sonia & Rahul Gandhi never tolerate corruption.
Did you figure out what happened? at least did you get the sense that this was all part of the script?. You may have some questions like.. Who were the directors? who were the actors? who were the reluctant actors? who are forced to act in according to the script?

Well, the above questions aren't difficult if you update yourselves with all the current events happening, but lets go to flashback (Don't worry - its short and linear narration).

When Sonia Gandhi was suffering from an unknown illness (unknown to us) and she left to another country for treatment, something dramatic happened. The letter which Pranab Mukherjee wrote to Manmohan Singh surfaces in the media where the Ministry of Finance indirectly accuses P. Chidambaran for not stopping the 2G scam to take place. How did this letter got leaked?

If i am not wrong, the corridors of power were hearing the gossips of the replacement of Manmohan Singh with Chidambaran and there was some disappointment in the old man of the Congress party, Pranab Mukherjee. The letter was leaked and temporary damage which was supposed to cause was done. Manmohan Singh's political acumen-ship did work and no wonder the statement stands true "Manmohan Singh an overrated economist and an underrated politician". But the high command will always have the last word, we have been told by the media that "Pranab and Chidambaram have cleared their misunderstandings". One only wonders what was the misunderstanding and how it was cleared.

The latest media bhajan is that Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi are against corruption. Let there be no doubts who are pulling the strings and why all the drama of corrupt ministers, resignation etc.. is being done. As i said in one of my previous post Congress party would project a soft anti-incumbency on its own prime minister and the Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi would be projected as leaders who are Anti-Corrupt and slowly it would come to a situation where they would ditch Dr. Manmohan Singh and would crown the prince. Manmohan Singh is a clever man, he was working under a remote control but he did realize the power of being a Prime Minister and made some very important political moves to hold on to the power but the future has something else planned for him, he may face the same humiliation which Narasimha Rao had to face from Congress party and most importantly he would be remembered for other reasons, he would be held accountable for the fall of Indian Economy, failing to stop the hyenas of NAC from feeding on economy and society, the sorry state of affairs in the Defence sector etc...

It is hard to predict what disaster is ahead for Indians, but one thing everyone has to understand is that the common man is manipulated, he has been fed lies, conspiracies have been projected as facts with the help of Indian Media. Indian Media is the sole culprit.
