Cuss words of Indian Media

I am often compelled to think weather majority of us who have the instincts to react to the injustices and prejudices in society(via media) have ever pondered to deconstruct the truth behind the news and the malicious intention of the messenger. Lets us all (if not all, at least most of us) agree that we are lazy scumbags who take and agree what is given to us even though it is crap.

These days, we are being told that social media is irresponsible. The padma awardee journo is one of the protagonist of this movement, when the irresponsible social media was brainstorming the mainstream media over their silence on a CD, the padma awardee journo was quick to come with words like 'public interest, privacy, etc...'. I am again asking the same question again, what offense did Nityanada commit? why was he termed as 'Sex Swamy' by these media houses and journalists who carry morality, privacy and freedom on their shoulders?

On what categorization is Nityananda distinguished which forced our journalists to term him as sex swamy and throw mud on his privacy and under what interest did the media houses report and telecast the XXX tapes of him?. Doesn't Nityananda have the same privacy rights like others?. What national importance and public interest did the padma awardee journo discover in some xxx tapes and why did they fail to recognize the 'Right to Privacy' in those tapes and what made them enlightened in the recent xxx tapes?. Let me state my position on these tapes and such other issues - I am totally against anything which compromises the rights of an individual and which hurts his/her privacy, any act of such kind which suggests to be illegal should only be taken and discussed in court and no trial should be made by public and media.

Let's forget this episode, remember the 'moral policing', 'talibanization' etc... these are said very often by the indian media and the padma awardee journos cry for the 'freedom', 'attack of fundamental rights' etc... if a college/university has banned jeans for girls, there will be war cry by our media houses - ok! fair enough, what about the dress code implemented for some corporates where are they are not allowed to wear sari's and if they do, they might be given pink slips. Why, i ask why! why the media has not seen this with the same lens?. The possible answer is prejudices of media are of different kind, they have their own definition of privacy, moral policing and they are successfully implementing their views on others.

You may call it as biased stand by the media, but think for a minute, is it really a biased view or is it something else?. The programming has been done, the individual has got into their environment, you can't apply your indigenous thinking or empirical analysis to comprehend the situation and say YES/NO and even if you find something fishy in what they are preaching, eventually you will be a target of morals, society, modernity etc..

The Right To Education (RTE) - is a classic example on how can media change/manipulate/impose views on the common man, its one of the ugliest example of how populism triumphs over individual freedom. Did the indian media even care to look at the RTE and its basic violations of fundamental rights in a modern republic nation? did it ever mention about the draconian provisions which take away your privacy and freedom?. Will you be shocked to know that they are lying and deceiving the people on RTE?

A member of parliament was serving opium(it was a routine ritual) and he was caught on camera, he has done nothing illegal but the media was quick to question him on various aspects which i mentioned earlier. Another instance - a large group of teenagers were taken into custody by the police as they found that in this large group party, teens were having cocaine and some xxx stuff - and the media's reaction was 'Is police trying to be over active?' etc.. Its just not double standards, its more than it, programming of your brains is constantly done, its the brain and liberal thinking of the individual which is under the direct attack, trust me even after reading this you will not be sure what i am talking about. Good Luck!.

Remember feminism and its implications on the thought process in the society? I vaguely remember Madam Shabana Azmi attacking the govt on why pictures of mother are shown in relation with kitchen etc.. and father is represented with something else and she was asking why not the other way. Now, does a house wife embrace same views? does she have the same feeling of discrimination when she enters kitchen? - the answer is NO, do you want to know why?.Simple, being housewife and making good food for your family is not discrimination anymore, thanks to 'Masterchef'.

Coming to Secularism, the media has convinced the society so much that you cant even imagine the repercussions, the National Advisory Council (NAC)comes with bills like 'Communal violence bill'. The media is making us convince that the responsibility of everything and nothing is on the majority, every meaningless allegations and senseless voices are the rights of the minority.

Why i am making so much noise? Simple, you are being programmed and the media uses the terms privacy, morality etc.. when they need them and ditch them when they obstruct their intentions. Media talking about privacy and freedom is like prostitute swearing on his/her virginity.
